Trained as a teacher, specializing in English and ESL, Sharyn has taught in Toronto and abroad. As dean of residence and student/parent liaison at an overseas school, Sharyn developed a thorough grasp of the needs of students and their families. In addition, she has over 35 years experience in training and consulting with individuals and groups in both personal business enterprises and upper-management corporate positions. Her insight and expertise are now used to interview, select and train tutors. Matching the right tutor to the right student is her number one priority. Sharyn builds positive relationships with her clients, as she professionally directs the daily operations of QT, emphasizing the importance of customer service, results and satisfaction.

Throughout his 41-year career as a teacher and Principal, Tony has helped students with everything from course selection to career paths. His extensive experience in alternative, special and community-based education has assisted thousands of students in their successful completion of secondary school. As a coach, mentor and student advocate Tony has guided countless students' academic development, along with their social and emotional growth. Prior to his retirement Tony chaired the Ontario Principals' Council for York Region. His expertise now plays a key role in the interviewing and selecting of our specialized tutors. As an Ontario Certified English and French teacher, and busy mother of two young children, Shannon brings both professional and parenting experience to the position of Peel Branch Manager of QT. She understands the importance of a child`s education in relation to lifelong success, and believes personalized, one-on-one tutoring helps meet unique learning styles and academic needs. Working to provide families with the best possible tutor in the comfort of their home, Shannon’s 14 years experience in marketing, graphic design and running small businesses is essential to managing the operation of the Mississauga, Brampton and Oakville regions. She is proactive and prides herself in the success of the tutor/student relationship.
